Room 03 · Executives & enduranceHosted by

MitochondrialGym.

Energy is trained at the cell, like a muscle: a dose, a schedule, progress you can measure. See what trains mitochondria, how a clinic course works, and how your business offers it.

For people responsible for someone else's energy.

Your executives fly every week and crash every afternoon. Your riders train hard and stop improving. Some never fully came back after COVID. This room shows why energy drops at the cellular level, what a clinic can measure and train, and how to bring that into the programme you already run.

From the session

Why a gym?

Mitochondria adapt the way muscles do: a regular stimulus, enough recovery, progress you can measure. One session is a sample. A course is the training. Here is what sits in the programme.

Sleep, Zone 2, strength, foodFoundation
What it does
Easy cardio, strength work, enough sleep and protein, less alcohol. The everyday stimulus mitochondria adapt to.
The evidence
The strongest evidence of anything here. Nothing at the clinic replaces it.
Watch for
Tiredness that does not lift with rest: that needs a check, not more effort.
Intermittent hypoxiaCore
What it does
Short, controlled periods of lower oxygen alternate with normal or richer air while you rest. Cells read this as a mild training signal: they renew mitochondria and learn to use oxygen more efficiently, the way muscles adapt to a workout.
The evidence
Small clinical trials in long COVID rehabilitation, prediabetes, metabolic syndrome and older adults. Promising, still early.
Watch for
Snoring or pauses in breathing at night, uncontrolled blood pressure, heart or lung disease, pregnancy. The doctor screens first.
Oxygen under pressureClinic
What it does
Breathing concentrated oxygen under raised pressure lets far more oxygen dissolve in the blood and reach tissues, which supports repair and the energy cells can produce.
The evidence
A sham-controlled trial in post-COVID patients reported improvements in cognition and symptoms, followed up for over a year.
Watch for
Ear or sinus problems, recent lung issues, claustrophobia. Medical review before the first session.
Cellular nutrientsDoctor only
What it does
The raw materials mitochondria use to make energy, such as NAD+ precursors, CoQ10 and B vitamins, chosen after tests show what is missing.
The evidence
Clear mechanisms, limited proof of a fast energy effect. Discussed openly, never sold as a shortcut.
Watch for
Only with a documented reason and consent.

Three stories from the room

Which one is your client?

Fictional clients the doctor walks through in the session. The first questions are the ones your team can learn to notice.

Arun46

Regional CEO. Four flights a month, six hours of sleep, an energy crash every afternoon. He stopped training a year ago. He asks for something to fix his energy fast.

What the doctor checks firstSigns of sleep apnoea, blood pressure and basic bloods, before any device.
Mai38

Marketing director. Since COVID in 2023, any real effort leaves her drained for a day or two, and meetings feel foggy. She asks if oxygen could bring her back.

What the doctor checks firstWhether effort makes her worse the next day. It changes how gently to start.
David52

Rides 300 km a week, stopped improving, and his last check-up flagged prediabetes. He wants a hypoxic block to break the plateau.

What the doctor checks firstFuelling and recovery first, then his glucose markers to re-test after the block.

Fictional teaching scenarios, not patient testimonials or evidence of treatment results.

The last twenty minutes

Where your business comes in.

Three ways to work with the clinic, from zero setup to an energy block inside your own programme. Bring one person or team in mind: who would you send first?

Refer · zero setupA card and a line

The energy check card and one booking line to the clinic. With consent, the clinic shares the plan so your coach or HR team can support it.

What you gainPeople get a proper check instead of another energy drink.
Package · your programmeYour energy block

Add a clinic block of a month or longer to what you already run: a wellbeing benefit, a training plan, a pre-expedition package. You own the programme, the clinic delivers the medical part and can arrange transport for your people.

What you gainA new line in your offer, without equipment.
Host · the clinic comes to youAn energy talk

The clinic team runs a talk and a simple check at your office or club for your team or members.

What you gainA member or staff event with no new staff and no setup.

Partnership terms are agreed individually with the clinic. The Protocol Room helps set them up.
